Oh Jebs, I like this! It IS sort of different from TR but I can see the convergence of this and what you ultimately wrote. I really also like the idea of Serenity getting sucked into the wormhole instead of Crichton going to the FF-verse. Flip your current AU around and it's a whole other world of possibility. It's quite interesting to ponder!
