technology is conspiring

jebbypalSiigh, you know, I really do think the internet is sentient. Google, in particular, takes great joy in tormenting me. I know I've searched for this conversion factor previously and not found it despite checking several 10's of pages. Today, I decide to look for the same thing and, bang, I have the answer with just visiting three sites.
I know, I know, this is paranoid. I can only be glad that my current computer likes me a lot more than my old laptop did. Man, did that thing and I go round and round with each other at times. It's not good when a machine manages to behave contrary enough to drive me to reduce it's lifespan. Really.
