Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Kansas Farscape forums/fanfic archive? I swore I had the right link, but I've been getting a "cannot find server" page for over a week now. The link I have is: http://forums.scaperoute.com/kansas/
There was a spate of that a whiles back - some folks able to get on and others not. It could be a router down someplace, although a week's kinda a long time for that ...
There have been several people that can't get onto any boardnation site. How do you get online? I'm just asking because the folks having the problem seem to have one common deal.
Umm...I don't honestly remember if I registered at kansas. I know I did on fluffy bunnies. But yeah, either place I'd be jebbypal (no one ever takes it from me:) LOL)
yep, one of the mods here... some (not all, as the other admin uses Verizon DSL to get there) have had problems accessing ANY boardnation forum since the end of April. We put in a ticket nearly 3 weeks ago and have still not heard anything back from BN about it.
But please, do not take down firewalls or antispy ware or what have you; it's NOT limited to Windows operating systems, so as far as we can tell, it is not a Microsoft issue, but I could be wrong with that if BN is using a Windows network (which I doubt, but I again have no real knowledge base of what BN does or uses to maintain their forums).
Okay...have still been having troubles accessing the site.
However, this morning I turned off the protections for spywareblaster program (blocks spyware and tracking cooking). I can now access both websites again now....so either it's the spywareblaster or everything has been fixed at the same time.
