Feeling better

Things have calmed down, and my dad and I got a full day just to ourselves. We filled it with packing up my mom's clothes -- dude no one should have this many clothes. I definitely know where that little voice in my head that says "well you should save it in case it ever fits again" comes from. 2 closets = 20+ large garbage bags. And there's still one closet that is inaccessible.

Today was my errand day - finally got up online on my credit union account and the address changed. Got my corporate discount for my cell phone signed up for (6 mos later). And bought an ipad for my dad since he seems to have easier more intuitive time with it than he does with microsoft (he used a unix based system back in the day when he worked for phone company). Sooo, if you know any tips or stumbling blocks for 66 year old mostly computer illiterate man, feel free to drop them :)

And have my return trip to NJ cancelled as client decided there was $$$ for me to attend the big end of year conference, and there's no point in flying back for 3 days to then turn around and fly to San Fran for 4 days. Though now I need to go and buy another business casual outfit since I only brought 2 with me.
