I'd forgotten exactly how bad a caffeine withdrawal migraine is. I mean, I know not to mess with them and they've made me miserable in the past, but I've generally managed to avoid them in the last 3-5 years or so by tapering down etc. But my stomach was a bit upset for a couple of days this week, and coffee kept exacerbating it, so I did just tea yesterday. And was fine and went to bed and slept...
Only to awaken at 7 am by the pain in my head. Holy fuck, excuse my language. The amount of time it took to wash my coffee pot was excruciating, and then leaning down to dishwasher to get a knife for my toast. Ugh.
Still had a bit left over by time I finished 1 cup of coffee so I broke down and took excedrin (though i typically avoid acetominophen when my tummy does what it's been doing last few days because that's worse than coffee when my stomach is like this).
So far everything seems to be evened out. Which is good, because I have too much to do to be incapacitated.
