Ugggh, sick of being sick especially since I have too many projects to just give in and take the requisite sick days.

Started Tuesday afternoon but was somewhat functional between kleenexes. Wednesday worse with throat hurt and more noseblowing and sneezing, and took 8+ hours to complete something that should have been done in 3-4 and was due at end of day
Yesterday, felt briefly better for 2 hours before I became slammed with muscle and skin aches and all over crappiness. Technically took 1/2 day off, but need to upgrade it to full day because my second wind that I kept expecting never materialized.

Eschewed any claritin or benadryl yesterday as my ears felt fine and so I was able to somewhat sleep last night once I finally gave up on bed and moved to recliner. And today everything seems to be solidly situated in my chest, but so far feeling better. Which is good because I really do need to go in to work for conference call this afternoon and complete two other deliverables today.

So as a result, I also get to work all weekend on the one thing that was due that I pushed off because there was no way my brain was going to work appropriately.

Boo hiss.

I hate being sick. I hate being sick even more when I actually live alone and there's no one to listen to my whining :( :( Misery shared is misery halved, no?

Woke up feeling half-way alive today, which is an improvement over the previous two. Made it to work and lasted the entire day without any substantial downturns.

Plus, it turns out that at least 3 of my major projects for crazy team client is on hold. Entire client is having budgetary pullback, and apparently its affecting this one team majorly. Cest la vie - we have more than enough work to keep us busy. This may mean I can actually take more vacation before the last 2 weeks of the year.

But now, I am tired of chicken soup and so I'm going to make pasta and load it up on the red pepper to get my head to unstuff some ... hopefully without restarting the recurrent nosebleed -> Aleve + allergy meds + PMS = no clotting fun. :P

And the last of my cracky syfy fun tonight with the season finale of Eureka. *pouts*
