Ready to go home now.....

I haven't had enough sleep for this shit:

1) went to unpack and discovered that I left one of my lock keys at home. fuck, what the hell is it with packages of 2 locks requiring 2 different freaking keys for each lock??? Stupid stupid stupid design. Hopefully the hotel has dealt with this before?????? Cause that suitcase, contains my dress shoes and my underwear. I have a spare set in my carry-on but I don't want to spend my time here handwashing stuff.

2) Who the hell designed this hairdryer? Between this and the iron policy, I'm convinced this hotel has burned down at some point. The hairdryer requires you to keep a button pressed constantly in order to be on. Which is not the most fun thing on this earth when you have hair that refuses to dry in a timely fashion. Fuck, I'm ready to go home NOW.

This is all likely compounded by only 4 hours of sleep....and caffeine induced blood sugar issues, though at least the coffee took care of the headache.

*pouts* home now, please? or a tardis to do over this day again?

ETA -- maintenance guy for the win! Tried to pick the lock, and then got pliers to break it open. Best part is - it might still be functional. \0/ I no longer want to destroy the city, so all is well. the hairdryer is still idiotic
