My own little prompt-a-thon....
Dec. 14th, 2009 08:09 amOkay, so I've been pretty much AWOL from all the holiday cheer on LJ, and am not participating in any holiday ficathons for the first time in...wow, a while. And I'm going to be in dial-up-land for the holiday itself, before returning for my mini-staycation.
So, to extend the holiday season, here's what I'm going to do. Feel free to comment below with a prompt and fandom and/or characters. I'm actually going to leave it all up to you, except to remind you that there are very very very very few fandoms that I can think of doing slash in, and my muse never goes explicit romance whatsoever.
Almost guaranteed wordage for following fandoms:
Farscape, Firefly(except I will shoot you if you ask for Simon centric fic), Life, Supernatural, Lost (this may take longer as I need to go watch my new shiny season 1-5), Burn Notice
Will give the following the old college try:
White Collar, Leverage, Torchwood, The Unit
And you know crossovers are allowed. For those having seen or followed any WIPs of mine, you can feel free to ask me to write in one of those verses with a prompt as well (though in all likelihood you'll get a drabble or missing scene, and not a next chapter...but you might get lucky).
I'm not going to limit the number that I'll respond to, and I'll try to get something on all of them. Feel free to leave alternate prompts as well. Of course, I can't promise a time-frame, but who knows, maybe this will extend the holiday through Easter (or just think of it as a New Year's Resolution to get words out).
