Well, after months of waiting for BBC to get their act together with this dvd release (what is up with stating you'll release it and then postponing it for months??), I finally have My Hero Season 1. Only disappointment is to realize that all of what I thought I'd seen on pbs was season 1 -- apparently that was mostly season 2 (or maybe even more? I thought the baby was season 3 but apparently I was wrong? That or season 2 was about 3x the length of season 1).

On the other hand, I just got to watch the first two episodes which I'd never seen before. I don't know exactly why I like this show so much -- it's not exactly cutting edge humor or anything. Maybe it's because it's like a cross between ALF and Perfect Strangers and it's just comfort TV.

I really have a lot of stuff I should work on tonight. *sigh*
