Well, I managed to wrench my mood around for the most part yesterday. Or maybe it was just because I knew the weekend was coming. *shrugs* I was just happy I didn't have any sort of headache last night since my new neighbor was having a quietly loud party (not loud enough for me to complain, but if i'd had a headache, it would have been really bad).

OMG, if you've never watched Venture Bros before, you have to watch this week's episode. Go to adultswim.com and click on the "fix" link at the top of the page. Ben Edlund penned this episode and wow, it's different from when Doc Hammer and jason publick write it, but it is so delightfully dark and well, trust me. You don't want to miss it. I can't say anything else without spoiling it, but all of you Tick/Buffy/Firefly fans HAVE TO GO WATCH IT. Please!! Or tune into cartoon network for adult swim on sunday night. I think it airs around 11:30, check your local listings.

Okay, gotta run to work and then B and I are going to do something. Sadly, no movies that don't suck are out. I'm really in a movie watching mood.

Heh, I knew it:) When I called B this morning, he was playing Oblivion w/ the intention of finishing the game so he'd never have to look at it again...When I called at three to say I was done w/ work and ready if he wanted to go out, he was still playing and hadn't showered yet. Since there wasn't anything pressing or superexciting that I'd been looking forward to about going out, told him to forget it (politely). Boy needs time to himself and I get that. No sense wasting the money on gas or anything anyways.

So I went to TJ's and I think I've discovered a hot chocolate mix that I can have w/ no problem. For those late to the game, my corn allergy makes me finding preprepared food of any sort very difficult. I had a huge hot chocolate habit based on pure cocoa and sugar and milk for several years after discovering my allergy, but alas, vitamin D is added to milk using corn oil and eventually my sensitivity got to such that a cup of milk was giving me sinus migraines like whoah. So last winter was no hot chocolate at all -- very difficult, trust me. And yes, I know technically I can make the mix myself with milk powder, but the cocoa that I buy that I can drink...well, it doesn't like to go into solution when there's no milkfat present. Was very bad the time I tried it.

But the new mix went into water very well. Definitely not the best cup of cocoa on the planet, but when you haven't had any for over a year, yummy! An hour later and no problems imminent, so I'm hopeful.

I also appear to be on a calcium binge so I'm eating creamy tomato soup again...though I know after last year that I need to limit myself to a box a week if I don't want to have problems.

Sigh, I miss having a normal gi tract.

Now I just have to decide what to do with the rest of the evening -- writing or dvds. This weekend is definitely a break from work.

Oh, and yes, I've seen the new stuff about LJ. I'm a wait and see type as I try to tell myself that I shouldn't be too stick in the mud. businesses and websites change and I need to adjust. I don't think it will actually impact fandom too much as most studios are loosely benevolent towards it nowadays as a form of promotion...Note, I said most, so don't start flames. Anyways, I doubt any community or user will be banned without a Cease and Desist letter anyways. We all knew this sort of thing would happen once LJ became part of six-apart. It's a for profit business now, not just one that's trying to make enough to pay for it's bandwidth.

There's always the slow as snails GJ.
