1300 days by [livejournal.com profile] stele3

Supernatural WIP. Dean POV, pre-series, when Sam leaves.

The first chapter is grab you by your guts good and makes me extremely excited to wait for more.stele nails Dean's character and gives a very compelling exploration of all three Winchester men.

I'm evil and hope there are 1299 chapters to go.

ETA..oh okay, just found the link for the other chapters cause apparently I'm dumb like that. In case anyone else suffers my affliction:
chapter 2
chapter 3 part1
chapter 3 part 2
chapter 4

It's finished -- for ease, I'm putting them all here since she doesn't have them in her memories. Note, some of those are multi post chapters so always hit "next entry" to see if there's another one.
Chapter 5
Chapter 6
Chapter 7
Chapter 8 and prologue

go, read, shoo.

Mostly because you guys are being too good at ignoring me and not distracting me. Which I love, but dude, I like some email.

Be honest.

Why am I on your friend's list?

Answer and post this in your journal.

And yeah, I know, I need to answer this for a bunch of people. *smooches flist*

Dear nature,

Please, make up your mind on what season this is. I was very glad that I didn't have to go to work yesterdaya through 40mph gusts and the cold weather. (also, would someone page me when they decide to have a firework show three blocks from my house? the start off is very scary). But dude, it's almost the end of May. I know this isn't OK or anything, but really, is 70 degrees on a consistent basis too much to ask? You seemed to have no problem with this back in FEBUARY.

Just a little consistency is all I ask. And maybe some 80 degree days sometime soon? Oh, and less wind because I hate getting glass blown in my face.

no love for the northeast,
me.

Attorney General says journalists can be prosecuted for leaks (NYTimes. reg may be req)

In case you can't get to that, this gives you the gist.

I feel like the Administration is taking a few too many cues from third world dictators right now. All they have to do is say the "T" word to lock you up without any rights and possibly torture you, they can listen to your foreign phone calls, they keep track of what phone numbers you do call, and heaven forbid you be a judge and disagree with them. Now they don't want the journalists to REPORT anything?? I mean, this from the administration that has been caught leaking classified data on their own, planting their own stooge in the press room, and paying publishers to publish certain press releases.

I'm flabbergasted. Although I voted for Gore in 2000, I remember thinking back then that based on their platforms, one wouldn't be any different than the other. Even midway through the first term, I didn't think there'd be too many differences BECAUSE THIS ADMINISTRATION WAS LYING THROUGH IT'S TEETH and the media was letting it get away with it.

Now that the media has "wioken" up, it's too inconvenient so they're going to threaten them into submission? I'm through waiting for 2008 to get here. Can we impeach the entire executive branch already???

a puppy pic I grabbed from somewhere )

Not mine, in the least. But I don't have the credit info. But I figure I should try to return the favor of all the pretty man picspam you guys do. Since I dumped most of my image files since I no longer have photoshop post-reformat (cause that disc wasn't included w/ all my others or it was a program on the screwed up driver disc), this is the best I can do.
