(no subject)

Good things for this weekend (in no particular order)--

-Successfully completing two out of three experiments --- possibly three out of three if the samples I saved after the machine clogged run okay tomorrow.
-Chocolate chip cookies.
-wonderful feedback from one of my favorite fan girls *winks*
-fun conversation with luridmuse ------ apparently, I'm no longer soaking up her bad karma. Sorry, hon!!!!

Now then, if I can only wake up and get to work at a decent time so I can print stuff out and prep for meeting that boss set up, I'll actually call this a good weekend.

And as B so helpfully reminded me, grad school is a marathon. Clearly, I got too excited last week and tried to make it into a sprint. No more looking for jobs until at least one paper is published. And omg, the next RL friend that I talk to on the phone that asks me how my project is going or when I'm graduating is soooooo risking a beat down. Come to think of it, that applies to anyone I talk to on the phone.
