As usual, [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster is my hero. Yep, yep.

Soo....umm...yeah, insomnia appears to be home to roost for a bit. Was not tired at all last night despite not really sleeping well the night before. Played the playstation till 1 am or so with a break in there for dinner (which, by the way, eating poppyseed coleslaw for four meals in a row = very very very itchy. No hives, but gah, it feels good to not be clawing myself today). Did some modly duties for [livejournal.com profile] fireflywaves, and then...

read an Octavia Butler book I got yesterday from Amazon until 6:30 am.

:P:P:P:P

Just woke up an hour ago (I love how my body always manages to get exactly 8 hours of sleep). But I guess I'd better either work out or clean my place today if I want a chance in hell at going to sleep at a normal time. And it does oh so badly need cleaning. Really. Not to mention that I need to clean so I can "find" all my tax stuff::P:P:P:P And if I don't clean this weekend umm..it will be iffy on whether any cleaning happens prior to my presentation in April.

Meeh. Still good weekend so far.

I'll preface this with the caveat that I don't expect comments to this in one way or another, it's just something that occurred to me about writers that I like and what I feel my weaknesses in writing to be.

Thoughts about commonalities of writers who I like )

and what does this have to do with me )

I think that's enough navel gazing for one post. Continuing it will cause rambling (assuming that it's more than that in anyone's head besides my own).

GIP!!!
