I will not be sick...I will not be sick...I will not be sick.
My throat and nose started itching yesterday afternoon but I attributed it to the bottle of vanilla hand lotion spilt all over the lab.
Then at home when eating dinner, the throat itching kept morphing to choking at inopportune times but I thought it was just me being a spaz.
And then I woke up at 2am with throat itching like crazy and feeling like it was swollen and not really able to sleep.
The wierd thing --- I'm not overly tired. My lymph nodes are not swollen. I am not running a fever.
One side of my throat does look oddly scary but I'm trying to tell myself it could be several other things than strep. Surely (I have not had strep for over 10 yrs now I believe. And I'm still in my undying fear of taking antibiotics because of all the fun corn side effects).
I am debating trying to go to the clinic today or tomorrow even though I have no symptoms other than uncomfortableness. ( gross under here )
Siigh...and I don't think my relationship w/ my boss is such to ask her to check me out (she is indeed a real doctor....but I just feel odd asking any one other than bf, close friend roomate, or mother to look in my throat).
Okay...and my nose burns. i am not getting sick...I am not getting sick.
In case it is strep, I guess I will forgo the planned workout that I did wake up early enough to do (another scary sign---I woke up perfectly fine at 6am). I do not want to be hit by the sudden and unfailing loss of energy to move that I suspect will accompany what is not happening should it get full blown.
