OMG....wow...big surprise awaiting me this morning. [livejournal.com profile] cassiee had apparently been working on revamping my website (apparently [livejournal.com profile] neroli66 still hasn't made any decisions on what to do for hers). So I have a shiny pretty new layout on my website Sanctuary in the Black.

It's really really really pretty:):) Very shiny. The layout is actually all [livejournal.com profile] cassiee's handiwork as well. Go and look at her beautiful artwork and coding. She is soooo talented.

So I spent another lazy weekend as usual. Accomplished nothing on my list as usual. See, this is why I gave up on being organized a long long time ago in a state very far away.

Looks like I'll most likely be heading down to DC to visit my friend (who is going to move to the Virgin Islands here someday soon) for Easter. Still debating on whether going to my college reunion would be a good idea or not too. Plane ticket is only about 250 (sadly, didn't realize that Southwest prices per leg so it's not the super cheap 150 like I thought), but I found out last night that my mother is planning on having back surgery here soon. Of course, both she and my dad are all on the "don't come home unless you want to" bandwagon:P:P Parents, can't live with 'em, and they never are straight w/ ya when you need 'em to be. Honestly, I think I'll probably wait to make that trip later in the summer sometime around my birthday. Of course that is always a curse since my birthday is 2 weeks from my brother's. So I can go close to mine and make my mother's summer, but know she'll still get down on his bday, or go during his and have to risk the need to take her to visit him (in jail). Because I know she'll have forgiven him etc by then for his last disappearance and arrest etc. Sigh, guess I have time to think on that huh?

No decisions made yet although parents reacted better than expected to the news of the options I was seriously considering. So I guess stuff is going as well as can be expected here.

Oh....and the reason nothing was accomplished in my apartment all weekend (beyond the sauna like heat since they turned the heat back on for some reason last week), I finished all of Farscape including PK Wars. No, I have no self control whatsoever. Just call me Chianna.

Go to www.whedonesque.com ....right now on the front page they have a post in which one of the commenters left a good summary of the most recent convention (all the cast except Summer I believe) as well as a video link that has a brief interview w/ Morena and Joss. And a link to lots of fun pics from the panel. Supposed to be a video of the panel posted to from my understanding.

go .. enjoy, indulge. No spoilers, promise.

I did a very very measly amount of working out this morning w/ the exercise bands I have since my shoulder was aching (most likely due to an overdose on the pickles from the way it felt, but I figured working it out would maybe prevent it from going out). Anyway, from the measly amount I did, I apparently hit my mid/upper back incredibly well. As in *owww...whine* Nothing pulled, but very very tired as if I'd typed all day in a bad position. Siigh, I know, just incentive to work out. Just tiring.

I can't make up my mind about the college reunion. On the one hand, my favorite professor is retiring. On the other, the friend I was to stay w/ has family in that weekend so wherever I go it will be crowded and people I don't know quite as well. Think I need to see what else they are planning on doing that weekend before I decide for certain....I have bad feeling that they might be doing the rounds at the frat parties (a huge part of my college's alumni weekends), and that wasn't my thing even in college. Uggh, should probably check into seeing how much rental cars cost as well....then I can at least do what I want.
I'm also hesitant as I still feel like I should try to go home as well to see my mom during her surgery, but the plane ticket to OK is another 200 bucks due to the way the planes go. Hmm...can't decide, can't decide. [livejournal.com profile] docmichelle, don't start plotting your plans around my travel plans just yet.
