grrr...arggghh
Mar. 4th, 2005 10:44 pmSo after a day in which I was very much looking forward to some button mashing ps2 fun, I've been denied. Traded the xbox in and only had to pay 30 dollars for the warranty, a new controller, and a memory card. Get the system home and run into probs almost immediately. I saw the woman check it, but for some reason didn't think to do so myself and the ac adaptor cord was missing. Fortunately the one for my printer fits as well...crisis averted right? Until I pop in Ratchet and Clank and turn the system on....and get an error that the memory card isn't present. Well it was..but i switched sockets...and still not registering. Take game out, switch again..no joy still nothing.
*bangs head* They didn't have any new systems so I'd traded in for a refurbished mini one (one of the new slim ones). Supposedly tested and all. Brian wants me to give the whole thing back..I think it may just be a bum card. Maybe in the morning I'll walk down to gamestop and buy a new card to see what's what. Then I'll know if the whole thing needs replacing.
Since my gaming was denied, I figured I'd at least see if the ps2 solved my dvd woes. Popped in shindig and actually got to see the bar fight scene in it's entirety w/ no jams. So yeah, that seems fixed.
uuuggghhh...feeling really tired now. probably from absolutely no food for dinner cause what i'd ordered at the bar tasted too wierd to trust. And now w/ the heat in my apartment I just want to curl up and go to sleep.
Oh...and did you know it's impossible to buy a large oscillating fan at Lowe's or Target in march? well it is.
