Yes, I'm weak

So this morning I caved...swore to myself for years that I'd never get involved in ebay etc, but this morning I figured I'd just check to see what the prices were...and then convinced myself to bid on S2 and 3 dvds when I saw the highest bids so far were still 15 dollars under the lowest price I've heard of on the 'net. The good news is, I won the S2 Farscape dvds at still a savings of 5 dollars (including shipping)....so that's good. Won't know about S3 for a few days but it's no biggee at this point. Of course, now I'll have a dilemma as I know the S2 boxset will arrive some days before the set containing the last 8 episodes of S1. Maybe I'll manage to be strong??? Hopefully. Let me know if you think I will utterly be destroying the viewing experience if I skip ahead to S2.

On other fronts, The Shield finally came in. So I may watch an episode of it tonite (and leave my last farscape episode that I haven't seen until later). Not much else really going on. My life remains boring and mundane outside of my escapes into fandom:P I don't even really crave the excitement either....I just pine for the possibility of graduation and escape from this city. Which this will probably be my last full nite just to myself. Need to start working on my presentation and such. Uggggghhhh.

ETA And I don't feel bad about not working on it tonite since it is currently 88 degrees in my apartment even w/ my window wide open. Stupid gorram heater
