Sentinel Fanfic rec

Hey all. I don't know how many of you follow the Sentinel. I've been a bit distracted from it since finding Firefly, but go back occassionally when I'm jonesing for somemthing to read.

Anyway, just stumbled across a series by an author named Judy that is great! I highly recommend it.

Hmm...should I include completely abandoned stories?? Ahh well, maybe I'll just do parts at a time.

Firefly
Susanna's Story-- "I said we had to get engaged Ath, I never said anything about getting married."
Fuck, I just realized I deleted everything but the last chapter I finished when I went on a hard drive cleaning spree. Fuck fuck fuck. Thank god they are archived in certain places. See Cassie, you ain't the only one.

Them's The Breaks-- "Not that we don't appreciate the warm welcome Jonesy, but do you mind telling us why your men felt that guns were required for the invitation?" Mal asked tersely as he retrieved his gun belt.

Working title:Torture-- "Preacher, what the hell do you think you're doing? We don't have enough jobs for you to go Old Testament on our employers whenever you feel like it."[Mal said harshly].
Supposed to be sequel to Preacher's Prayer.

Sheep or Wolf?--"Beware old friends, faces stay the same but people change," Methos whispered in the girl's ear in Sumerian.
Sequel to Death by Any Other Name.

Camouflage--"Yeah, that old guy, Burton? He's really of his rocker. He started spouting this fei hua about how you'd be less confused if I joined up … Zoe, are you okay?" Wash asked.

No title yet. Sequel to Those Left Behind--Instead of simply undergoing one of her "normal" flashbacks, River was kneeling over her brother's prone body while applying pressure to his throat with her arm.

Okay, that's all the firefly WIP. Wow...never realized how hard it was to choose a sentence....or not to try to explain it. Cheated by saying which of my universes they were all in, but well, couldn't resist. Dunno that any of the sentences make sense as stand alones. But I tried.

Stuck at work

Well as usual I procrastinated forever. So stuck at work waiting for a Western gel to finish running which I then still have to transfer. So much for getting back home in time to go to grocery store tonite. Will have next to nothing to eat for breakfast tomorrow so working out in the morning won't happen either.

But I did finally go work out today (hence the slow gel since I set it on a very low voltage so it wouldn't be done before I got back). And I must remember to remind myself when I'm being excruciatingly lazy that working out actually feels good when you aren't broken and you manage not to break oneself. :) So, hopefully once I come back from T day, I will work out semi-regularly before xmas. Cause my neck was about to declare war on me. Could feel it getting fed up.

And I have all my WIP on disk with me to print out to take w/ on vacation. So maybe if I'm lucky I'll finish something? Or at least make progress which is more than is happening now. Course I'm probably being overly optimistic since I only get two real days at home and I don't forsee that my parents will allow me to stay in the back bedroom typing. Ahh well, I'll be prepped for xmas already at least.

But all in all a pretty good day I guess minus a petty annoyance at someone online this morning. But really nothing in the scheme of things I guess.

And for once, I can say that my icon I'm using was made by me:) No, not an artist, just something I whipped up yesterday after my spree of capping. I'm happy with it even if some think it is amateurish. But hey, I am an amateur so ...well I'd say something not nice, but no real need as the person I'm addressing ain't friended.
