Oh wow. This is the first season finale of any show that I have no clue what the heck is happening next season. which as long as nestor's character recurs, I don't care. So very nice to see someone so clean shaven and put together all the time on the island....which makes him spooky too, but oh well.

So that wasn't a flashback --- Jack mentioned his father. Had he totally lost it, or is his dad really alive? Which would mean the ploy to get him to australia was orchestrated by??

I still want to know who died all alone.

Oh man, this is actually going to be a very painful hiatus for me. I do have to say, Lost finally did it and pulled me all the way in this season.

My chat buddies think Jack was just being an asshole "at least I didn't get fired like my dead drunk of a father, why don't you go pick on him" or something. And I could totally see Jack doing that. But. If the writers do that, they fail, in my opinion.
