Beckham coming to america.. Huh, I guess this might mean that I have a hope of seeing some soccer game other than the playoffs/championship on network tv. And man, that has to great on Kobe and Terrel to learn that a Brit will be the highest paid sportsman. LOL.

Ehhhh, it started out very slow. There were a few truly good moments in the episode -- Like the look Dean gave to Sam when Sam asked how far it was to Peoria. And I do have to say I loved the guest actress to death. I hope we see her again.

That said, I was underwhelmed. But this is probably due mostly to my stress level and avoidy-ness thowing me waaay close to depression. Okay, so I might as well admit I'm all but there given that I'm not enjoying music, but hey, if one is avoidy, why not be all denialy too?

I don't understand this contract for someone who's A) over the hill and B) not that good. Sure, they'll attract a bunch of women, but not a lot of men and he won't make new soccer fans. Oh well.

He's a brand. It's as if Jordan suddenly announced he was returning to basketball (and was of an age to compete). Beckham may not be at the top of his game, but he's still good.

I get that. But Jordan didn't bring new people in; he brought old people back.
