HOme again.
1) Apparently I forgot to throw out my trash before I left. DOHHHH. thank god for febreeze air freshener.
2) The rush hour on 76 towards King of Prussia (mall) starts at 3pm. why do I insist on always forgetting this.
3) as a result of #2, what should have been a 1 and a half hour drive max turned into 4 hrs between traffic and then navigating small towns in the dark.
4) I hate saturns as much as I hate small fords and chevies. Granted, I had enough head room. Granted, the steering wheel was adjustable --- yet it only really went up and down and in order to reach it with my arms, my legs had to be jammed up into the console. Also, back support/arm support non-existent. And I don't like having the spedometer over in the middle of the dash. Behind the steering wheel please. Plus the cruise control was broken.
5) The bread I bought -- they make it sweeter than they used to. And no, my face does not appreciate infitessimal amounts of soy protein that it contains.
6) My pda and wireless access made the conference bearable.
7) I didn't get to leave this morning until 10 am because I thought my roomate was going to oh, I don't know, get ready early since she made a big todo about her friends leaving at 9:30 -- they were still there when I left. Also, eeewww -- she didn't shower last night or this morning. Ewwww. stress sweat from poster presentations anyone.
8) FUCK. I just remembered, I left my poster there. *bangs head* Not that I need it again, but still. Annoying.
9) Like last year, I forgot that if I wanted to stop at King of Prussia mall on the way back, I needed to stay on 202 instead of taking the first exit for 76. AS a result, no mall morning for me:(:( Maybe I'll rent a car one day next weekend.
10) As a result of #9, I got stuck in tailgating rush hour.
11) When I got back to the city and wanted to park so I could take my stuff up and eat and things....I found out that pretty much all of the street in front of my building had no parking signs posted for today...which means parking in neighboring streets was nearly impossible as well. Finally found a place before road rage set in very hard.
So now I'm eating and drinking coffee. Then I'm going to gather the things that I'm going to give to security guard at work and take them to work. Then drop off car and come home and attack the pit.

But yeah, happy to be back home...though I did get to watch a nifty history channel special on civil war terrorism that had a lot of stuff I didn't know about.
Did you ever gather your Life On Mars copy from azure?

But now you have the possibility should your brain fry or kink abandon you. Or a plague hit *knocks on wood*
