I may have forwarded you a trojan. If you get an email with the words New Graphics Site or something to that extent, don't open it. Just delete.

I'm not positive though since I didn't open an attatchment after the rest of it looked very very odd (lots of forwarding, but no chain mail-ishness to it). I think the normal spyware/virus scans should pick it up from what I can tell from the internet security sites.

Just surfing my friends flists and came across your posts. I got the same thing today in an old e-mail account I hardly check. The e-mail said it was from someone I knew from school using their real address, but it is clearly spam after I had clicked it. I didn't open the attachment, but it still spammed everyone in my contacts list. What a bother.

Sadly, this one seems very unfair to us people in fandom. I mean I recognized the sender, and well, it's not unusual to get such an email from fandom.

Sigh, I was hopeful that I'd have needed to open the attatchment. Guess I'd better run the malware scan on the lab computer at some point tomorrow to make sure the trojan didn't load.

Is it bad that I am annoyed running a virus scan on my computer will slow down my fandom related downloads? Yes. :(
