You know it's bad when it appears the emoting of an actor is in response to his costars performance and the cheesy lines. David Cubitt is in 10.5...and it's just hilarious. You can see "how the hell did my agent get me this gig and how soon can I fire 'em?" on his face in every scene.
Heee.
ETA -- Awww..He's out of his misery now --- his character just died. Which means this travesty of tv just got too painful to watch.
Really, a river boiling? And somehow that's not creating drafts that interfere with a helicopter? *laughs head off* Where can I sign up to be a science advisor for TV again? Obviously, the plethora of sci-fi on tv right now has caused a shortage of advisors for the miniseries.

After about ten minutes I started expecting the phone to ring, my PhD committee calling me to tell me they were kicking me out just for watching.

Yeah, it was bad...very very very bad. By the time Cubitt bit the dust, I only had a half hour to go, so I forced myself to see how much worse it could get.
Much.
and this thing still has another night to go. Forget about apocolypse, this is the miniseries that makes you long for it just so it will never see the light of day again.
