WY (R) Senator escalates war on women's healthcare

Highlights:
This federal legislation would raze hundreds of state laws that ensure patients can get the medical care they need and would not allow women to designate their ob/gyns as primary care providers.

• not allow women to seek care directly from their ob/gyns, but would force them to be screened by their primary care doctors first


• dismantle coverage for contraception


• dismantle coverage for annual cervical cancer exams


• not allow women to stay with the same doctor throughout a pregnancy, if that doctor was dropped from the insurance provider

WHAT THE FRELL!! Heck, I would not have had my cancer diagnosed in time if I had to go through my primary care physician because she would not give me the referral. The tumor was growing so fast that even a week would have hurt my chances. I took myself to my OB/GYN and she lead the rest of the way to get me the help I needed through the system. My primary care physician did squat.

OH where do I protest this thing???
