Recently cast star not sure which role she's playing

And the scripts not finished and they've added another Xmen character (Multiple Man?) that has yet to be cast.

But supposedly they are currently filming for the 2006 release. Yeah. Sure.

ETA and am I the only one not feeling any spark at all at the news that another Trek film may be in the works? Meehh...when you said we'd have a break from the franchise, I really thought it would be more than 2-5 years. Uuuuck. If they get a good screenwriter, I might consider seeing it. Otherwise, I'm of the opinion that there's not much else to do w/ that verse that hasn't been done previously in book or film.

Oh, that and I'd RATHER HAVE A FARSCAPE MOVIE.

Or another Serenity movie.

Or I don't know, maybe something ORIGINAL.

Out of only mild curiousity, which cast are they talking about using for a new Trek movie? They've really done a rather poor job of making those movies. Everything since First Contact has been pretty forgettable, IMHO.

So far the only mention has been the possibility of Boreanz (no word on his reaction). But the only possible member of any past show they are considering is T'Pal possibly.

Ahhhh, okay. New ship, new crew kinda thing? Although the possibility of Boreanz is interesting, I have to agree that I feel like they've mined that universe about as much as they can for the time being.

Actually the only guesses they made in the article was either Star Trek: Academy or something to do w/ the Romulan Wars.
