I'm addicted to Howie Day now. Friend gave me the cd (so she wouldn't feel guilty about buying Maroon 5).....really, like Damien Rice level of love here. The man has suuuch a pretty voice.
You should hook up with my friend redfraggle02 - she loves Howie Day and much indie emo-rock. She's relatively well connected to the NYC scene (and a lovely human being - we've known each other since high school) if you're interested in finding more stuff like that.
