So, I went to Borders website and they have the same function...theoretically. No notice emailed to me as to yay or nay if they have it...

Hello! This is actually what I do for a living, believe it or not. Along with the five thousand other things a bookseller in a large store like Borders does, we also read each online book/dvd/cd reserve request, search for said book/dvd/cd, and e-mail you back as soon as we can.

Sometimes it takes a few minutes, as customers who are actually in the store have to take priority. Another option would be to call your local store, which would get you a much faster response.
