Heeee... apparently our fandoms are in sync at the moment (or at least, there are multiple fandoms you've known about for years that I'm just discovering all at the same time!)

I just watched the pilot for s1 Burn Notice yesterday, and I absolutely *LOVED* it. Great blend of quirky humour with just enough of an edge to stop it being pure candyfloss. Also, I spent the entire hour and a half (or whatever it was) trying to work out where the hell I'd seen the guy that plays Michael before - and musing that he reminded me a younger Val Kilmer - before I finally clicked that he's the guy that played Jarrod's younger brother in The Pretender.

Also, after IMDBing the show and seeing just how many actors I know that will turn up at *some stage* (I haven't dug too deeply, just in case I end up massively spoilered for something). But I'm already bracing for crossover crackfic for SG1 with Michael Shanks' character, and BSG for Tricia Helfer's...

LOL -- it's actually the second - you just seem to be getting dvds of shows i've either followed in the past (ncis) or shows i'm still into (unit, burn notice).
