Oh wow. Just got a chance to read this, and it gave me cold chills the whole way through. Literally.

I think you did a great job with Zoe here. And it's a very plausible look at what happened to bring her into the war. Brr.

Makes me want to read more. :)

Thankies....I tried to reply to the one person that managed to review before the outage and couldn't either.

And it is hopefully about halfway done not including a HUGE edit. Started to get a complex partway through about relying on dialogue too much. And then about rendering Zoe's dialogue believable. Sigh. hopefully that's just River being antsy about not getting enough scenes.
