Q for those w/ cable hispeed internet
So, this may sound dumb, but I've never seen a cable internet setup. Is the line that hooks into a modem the same as a phone line, or does it have the fun cable prong on it? I'm trying to decide if the wi-fi broadband phone line internet modem I have will work as well (or if I have a brand new one that I should try to sell since my old one decided to work properly as soon as the new box showed up).
Verizon doesn't offer highspeed internet at my apartment. A cable company does (though I'm puzzled since it seems they don't offer cable. Whatever, I guess some of these things I'll figure out when I get there -- like if I'll have to get cable to get the tv to work or if I'll still be in range for my rabbit ears to pull in reception).
I also figured out that I'll be 30-50 miles from the nearest trader joes. Which makes me sad. Granted, I'll have a car, but :( I'll have to buy in bulk for what I have to buy there. No more two grocery trips a week for me.
