LoM 2x08

Okay, first, LD - I know you said you gave up on this season. But if you are going to watch any more LoM, you should really watch 2x08....and also the one in which Sam gets "drugged" -- I think it's 2x06. Really. :):) Trust me. It wil help if you ever decide to vid it. **nods nods**

This was a regular twister of the brain episode with so many twists that it made one start to wonder if 1x01 had been all a dream in sam's mind or what.

First Morgan's the surgeon. Then the cemetary where he tells Sam he's had a comatose state before and he's just an amnesiac cop from 1973 Hyde. Then the white light and ...PRESENT.

He even outed himself to ray and whatshisface. I'm surprised he didn't get himself killed by doing so....which is one sticking point to me, because I think Ray was ready for some real vengenance with everything that happened that season, but I suppose he wants Hunt around to sign off on the ass kicking.

Present day Sam was so...Mm. Which is hard, because we never saw him when he wasn't obsessed so we don't know how much of that is always what Sam was and if 1973 actually loosened him up and taught him how to live or what. I'm disappointed they didn't have Maya around at all, but I suppose that's why we had the Maya goodbye ep w/ her Mum.

I loved the continuity to the pilot with him jumping off the roof of the station. And how seamlessly he fit in and all. There'd better be some references from that Dorothy Sam Tyler from Hyde when Gene Hunt gets his own series.
