Subpoena Power --- if they refuse, is it a subpoena?

This is probably the best discussion (mostly because it's the least dry) I've seen about how the actions that Bushco has taken has effectively crippled our balance of powers. Worse, it's the first time that someone's pointed out that under W's unitary executive, the cops work for him.

didn't they make it harder for us yanks to emigrate after the war started though? to prevent us flooding over the border.

Guess with global warming, it'll be the right temperture for me to survive there in a decade or so.

YES! I plan on doing my masters on the west coast, so lets just go early! We can take a trip into Alberta whenever Nathan is visiting family...
