I remember being in Philly with you that first time we met and standing in line at Trader Joes with you and PT. I twitched and...whatever comes across my face in those moments, came across my face when I smelled the OVERWHELMING scent of lillies coming from the flower section right next to us in the line. And I said something about how it was the smell of lillies when y'all asked me what was wrong and YOU said something like "here, just give me your stuff and you can go outside. We'll take care of it."

And, like...I didn't NEED that. I don't full-on flip out or anything, but just knowing that you a) knew me well-enough through just LJ at that point to KNOW how much and why I hate lillies and b) casually and non-judgmentally offered to spare me from it, just because you're a nice person who doesn't want their friends in discomfort... that touched me. That touched me a lot. I don't...have a lot of people (I can count them on less than one hand) who "take care" of me and my emotional state that way - I'm usually the one taking care of everyone else. And it said alot about the kind of person you are, sweetie :D. Kind. You're just so very KIND.
