omg, this documentary on pbs is so scary. It's about the role of evangelical christians in the debate on global warming. There is actually a branch of evangelicals that have woken up and accept the scientific evidence on global warming.
Cue the horns from Dobson and the Cromwell report ---> One of their spokesman stated something to the following: "Pollution is a part of natural life. The key is understanding how much is acceptable" --- dude, yes, we all excrete waste - but that's in the form of naturally occuring elements that are used by other beings. Nature can't use DDT, oil derivatives, etc.
He also says everything w/ relation to global warming and cooling are "god's will".
*beats head* science =/= atheism. science has never proven the existence or nonexistence of god. Anything science proves, only goes to how the world that your god created operates.
