Dude, I begin with talking heads ALL THE TIME. Often, I even just leave it that way! Talking heads are not inherently bad. They just must be used sparingly. And if there's anything PT The Fic-Writing Cylon Machine has learned me, it's to JUST KEEP WRITING - you can make it pretty later.
