small things

Well, my headache finally went away shortly before I woke up this morning...and it didn't really interfere with sleep much. But boy oh boy, bad headache. *stares longingly at excedrin* Supposedly no more rain this entire week, so hopefully I won't have a repeat of it anytime soon.

That said, the humongous crater on my chin trying to erupt can hurry the hell up. Only good thing, it's not on my nose so I don't look like rudolph. But if it grows much more, I'll start too look like a chin implant gone wrong a la jay leno. I'm not kidding.

ROCKSTAR IS BACK!!! The more they say the band name Supernova, the less cheesy it sounds. As ever, Tommy Lee is a total camera whore. But funny as hell to watch since he's the only one who totally shows all his emotions in response to the music on his face. He was completely gettin bored at the end though...the dangers of having an ADD musician on your judging panel...guess that's why they also have their producer up there with them this time. Siigh, they didn't show Dave's leather pants much. *pouts* He didn't call a single singer "sweet"..Yay. That moniker should forever be reserved for last seasons Suzy McNeil (sp?) - they had awesome chemistry on the show.

The singers this year on the whole are far and away better than last year. A good number of international ones as well...though I'm slightly miffed at a lack of racial diversity. Oh well. They are sooo much more talented than the first five or six eliminated last year. seriously. They made last year look like amateur hour.

Chris was the only one who far and away sucked. I didn't really care for Lukas's punk rock style and thought that Jill was alll hype, but maybe it was the song.

Josh, Ryan, and Toby are the guys to beat. I didn't care for Zayra's take on Evanscence mostly because I couldn't tell if she had pitch problems or was doing something w/ her accent. Dilana, Storm, and Patrice were my favorites of the women.

And tonight, the cut.
