I have severe seasonal allergies, which means I get December free; unfortunately, I usually get a cold then.
But I noticed when I cut my Rx out--and used a Benedryl or Cloratrimaton (or their generics) ONLY WHEN I NEEDED IT, I haven't had as severe a problem. But I do take a Sudafed (or generic) with them to make sure I am not just clearing my nose, but my sinuses as well!
