My baby, my poor, sweet, beautiful baby!!! What's been done to you!!!!!!!!!! *cries, sobs and tears hair*
Yes, you might gather that my computer *my precious* is having a meltdown. A major frakking meltdown. AS in saying the local profile is corrupted and so starting up w/out any of my preferences, WITHOUT ANY OF MY GODDAMN FILES -- NONE, ZIP, NADA, NOTHING, and no bookmarks.
What did I do?? I know I said I'd take the bad karma,but that's me, not my computer. Put me in the hospital, destroy my experiments, make things go wrong in my apartment, but my technology is off limits!!!!!!!! Especially when I've almost paid off my credit card debt.
So yeah, I don't know what to do. I don't know if a disk defragment will help or make things worse. I don't want to risk trying to reformat it until I can see if I can transfer stuff off of it. I guess I'll go and check the stability of the harddrive...assuming the computer will let me download and install programs or anything in this profile.
God. I even restarted out of hopes that it would help...it didn't. What did I do???????????????????????????????
