My lip is fat.

I kid you not. Half of my bottom lip is fat. Sadly, this is not due to anything that helps me write amusing anecdotes like a fight, random homeless mugging me, or even managing to bite myself while eating an interesting dinner. ( gross explanation and whining )

I have discovered an annoying fact about writing without muse dumps....when a scene bunny actually manages to grace you with its presence, it runs very fast since it is smaller than a fic bunny and generally wearing grease so that it is even harder to catch. Also, tends to happen when you have no ability to even record the most basic of impressions. I may have to start calling friends' voicemail to record impressions and have them email them to me. Seriously.

Simon fic will be finished this weekend if it's the last thing I do before having my zitless funeral. Really.

Sewer gas was inexplicably bad today when i got home. Apparently diluted tilex does not work the same as straight bleach followed by water. Oh to leave this building soon.

The Nine premieres tonight. It's actually the one new show I've been looking forward to the most. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

As for Drive, Tim Minear's show, still no news on whether it will actually be picked up as midseason replacement or not, but Joss has seen the pilot. *crosses fingers and does voodoo dance*

My to do list in real life is painfully long and I prefer to ignore it. I am also anticipating PMS in a good way for the first time ever in a hopes to just get my hormones evened out already.

Why don't I watch the news? Let me count the ways.

Everything about Foley-gate is dumb. 1) being gay does not equal being a pedophile. 2) being abused as a child does not make a pedophile. Foley was an adult, he used his position and influence to get access to kids who wouldn't be able to tell. Anything else the media or his lawyer tries to say to "excuse" his behavior is bull. And if for whatever reason you say that since the pages were 16 years old, it's not pedophilia, well it doesn't really matter. It was sexual harrassment by any definition. Oh wait, I forgot, sexual harrassment charges won't prevent you from being a supreme court justice, so why should it matter for a senator or congressman.

This though should redirect some attention. CBS news reported that shiite death squads are in control of many Iraqui hospitals. Yet congressional republicans want to write in an admendment to a military spending bill for money to commemorate our success in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Is Rove in the hospital or somethng? Cause he really ain't managing these October surprises very well...unless you know he meant to distract us from Iraq with a sex scandal. Funny, I seem to remember Clinton being accused of trying to use a war to distract from his sex scandal. I think I preferred that one, especially since it involved trying to stop ongoing genocide instead of destabilizing a region and permitting widescale genocide to occur.

And Bush signed the bill for the border fence today. Funny, this isn't the America I remember from Civics in so many ways.

Plus, they can have drug interactions, side effects, and toxicity (whether you are taking them for depression or anything else). Always tell your doctor what OTC you take including vitamins and also do a check on the internet for symptoms of toxicity/overdose. I actually experienced many side effects and a couple of toxicity effects of several different supplements when I took the recommended dosage that was printed on several vitamin/herbal remedies in the past. Remember, dosages are generally assuming you are in the range of 160-250 pounds methinks. Not good for us lightweights.
