Another Farscape story rec

Well, indulged a bit this morning after waking up waaay late and satisfying my caffeine cravings. The result--a rec for a farscape story. Spoilers through probably season 3 that I can tell and then off into AU/crossover land. Very well written and the characters are incredibly in voice. If you like farscape and enjoyed Casablanca, go and forth and read! If you are like me and are ignorant of casablanca other than what has seeped into popular culture, well you'll still enjoy it!

We were supposed to have snow/sleet/rain/ice all friday and saturday....instead I wake up today to find all gone. Woops we screwed up...Now we get sunshine and 40s. 40s!! Do you know how long it's been since we've had 40s!! It's starting to feel a little like spring

Well, so far my plan seems to be working. A few bunnies are starting to kick around as to possibilities to do. This may be the last chapter posted for a couple of days because this is all of the firm timeline. I have more written, but I got an idea that may help me out which will require some possible rewriting. Hopefully more to come soon.

This is definitely the last update for the weekend. Next chapter gets major overhauls and then will need to be betaed. Hopefully ya'll will get something more before next weekend. Story as it is has grown on me during the reread...realize part of it was just realizing that I had a ton of exposition to get through before the action...which reads good the first time, but 50 times later is a bit repetitive and slow. Hope you all have enjoyed the ride...More to come.

Is this weekend mardi gras?

Cause I'm hearing more drunken relvry than I've heard since the superbowl. Especially annoying as it seems to be mostly loud, drunk frat guys attempting to act irish...oh wait, it ain't st patty's is it? no that's like the 17th right.

Wierd. Especially since this has been going on since 2pm on a sat. And it's spring break for most local colleges.

Broke down and bought farscape season four and the PK Wars so I can take part in the lj viewing party that sdwolfpup has suggested. Much thanks to her for saving me 30-40 bucks too:)

Can't wait for more farscape....Been watching more of season one as I anticipate the arrival of the third starburst edition...really do think s1 is still my fave. Also, I hope and pray that the later adv box sets after s2 have subtitles available for watching the commentaries. Which it sucks like mad that only the Cracker episode is all we get commentary for for season 2...but I can't seem to make myself watch them if they don't have subtitles. I mean...there is a lot of blank time and sometimes even claudia doesn't talk about what you want to hear. Siigh.

Okay...I really should go wash my face and move around as I contemplate whether I'm going to work out today or not. I know I know...I need to. *tries to glare at neck muscles and leg muscles that have been very unhappy*

Okay...been a while since I've read over anything I hadn't previously edited several times as well as had betaed at least once. Must get my use of adverbs under control. I can deal w/ the passive voice, but do I really need to use an adverb per sentence?? *bad muse, bad*

Got to the part where I've got to start writing again. Glad I didn't just throw most or all of it away as it really does have a lot of good places.....including my first ever good rendition of Kaylee. Imagine that. Who knows..might be able to work in that scene w/ jayne yet....

Ooookay...too much sugar and not enough movement today leaves me being sleepy and hyper at the same time. Hopefully my legs will calm down before I go to bed.
