Okay, being Iron Woman does help!
Iron infusion on the 22nd.
The next week was honestly not great with LOTs of aches and pains, including the fun back/intercostal rib muscle spasms and additional back pain. Complicated by having to be in office for 2 day leadership meeting with less than stellar back support. But i made best of it with heating pad
Then my period week. The only thing the iron did there was make me awake all week for all the pain. Normal 2-days of cramps, but again, the muscle spasms/back pain continued and my gut was continuing to be unhappy from processing whatever was going on. Was supposed to keep taking iron tablets for it but backed off because guts were so angry. Plus neck went out so 2 times of chiropractor to keep functional
This week started off with some lingering rib/muscle pain, but gone mostly by Wednesday. Tuesday the 7th also got my botox for TMJ topped off and my neck went back to mostly normal so clearly that was overdue by a lot.
Last 2 days were first in a month that were pain free (minus one weird migraine).
Worked out today for first time since infusion. Key things — i can wake up and be awake immediately in mornings which should help me be more consistent with workouts
2. My muscles didn’t start cramping up during the workout, so instead my cardio was saying “we’re not quite there yet” so it was a shorter workout
3. A bit sore post workout but nothing like in past. And still awake too. :)
