Awake finally
Yep, awake finally..and promise, not going to start whining this early in the day;) Just wanted to comment on how that I now understand the vid that got me to try farscape in the first place: You Cut Her Hair (tom mcrae song) by fialka. Wow:) it's even better when you've seen The princess trilogy episodes. And can I just say, YEAH!! Ben's hair wasn't gelled in these episodes!!! Finally. Sorry, I don't like the gel and I prefer him just in the tshirt .. not the leather vest crap.
Was a little creeped by future John though...I mean, well, it wouldn't have applied at the time the show aired, but the makeup and how ben portrayed him...all of it creepily reminded me of Lex luthor from Smallville...well a buffed up lex :) Must squee over ben's muscles. I really hope we start to get a few more shirtless scenes of him. "Come on this is cable!" *yells at writers*
Okay, back to reality here. Finally got into season two with the end of disc set two and then all of three. Felt like in the first disc that everyone was slightly out of character...like the show had gotten new writers who were playing around w/ figuring the characters out again (and hello, too much hair gel). Chianna now seems real...though her entire body language still annoys the hell out of me. Wonder if that's universal for women:) I mean, it just screams tralk :) LOL
Okay, going to go work instead of squeeing.
ETA ... though I wish the show's creators would decide what parts of physics they are going to follow. Hello! You had Zhann dream about what would actually happen to John if his suit cracked---- his face exploded even while it was freezing. But then you turn around and have him abandon a burning ship w/out a suit and survive a full what 10 seconds in space?? hello, burst lungs anyone?? Burst skin?? Burst eyes/??? Arrrggh. That is infinitely more annoying than sound in space!!!
