I actually used a different route this morning, it shaved 5 minutes off my trip and the crossing was much longer :)

I'm only worried now about the snow in the winter. My actual street doesn't have sidewalks so winter walking will be very dangerous. I'm eyeing a different route, but it will all depend on if the neighbours have their shoveling done by 7:30 when I head out. I may have to go back to driving or take the bus.
