Note to self:
When holidays fall earlier than normal, such as Thanksgiving this year, you should make an entry of when to call home on your phone calendar.
Other wise, you may end up with parents driving up to see you when it's been 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks since they've heard from you.
Fortunately, that didn't happen this time, but now I know why my dad was so desperate to get in touch w/ me this past week.
I may also need to break down and give them one of my coworkers numbers in case they get worried again....or reassure them that one of my coworkers has their number should anything happen.
