International travel electric question..

Okay, so I've done some basic research on international adaptors and several that I've found make the additional warning that they are only adaptors, not converters.

Given that I'll have a lot of necessary electronics with me (computer, digital camera, iphone), I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Anyone have any recommendations on converters that I should buy? Or is it really just not that necessary anymore? If the info is needed, I'll be in Spain. Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't have an recs on what to buy, as the converter I have is really old and needs to be replaced (it was made by Radio Shack if that helps though). But if you're coming from the U.S. I'd say you totally need a converter. Going to double the voltage in Spain could definitely fry things if it's not properly downgraded first.
