Well, I guess I'm officially in the 21st century....

Since google let me down and the nexus doesn't offer 3G service when utilized on the AT&T carrier, I gave in and got an Iphone today. Given that it was only a 20 dollar bump in plan, I kind of felt like it was justified in order to have all the other doodads...

And after playing in the app store for half an hour, I'm really glad I did since I found the Allergy tranlator app. It's a tad limited, but does list "corn/corn oil" (which doesn't even begin to cover the hidden words), but I figure that's a good starting place for when I'm in Barcelona come June and need to communicate with non-english speaking waiters. (It provides a screen with a series of questions about the ingredient for the waiter to read...so no travel to foreign countries with low literacy rates for me).

Of course, I refuse to install facebook on it because I'm just not that into it.
