Well that explains some things......

I'd thought that I'd been feeling differently for a bit now. Just realized as I threw a milk carton away that Organic Valley has started adding vitamin D to their whole milk.

No horrible symptoms yet, but geeesh. Not cool. Have contacted them to find out more info. Siiigh, and I'd just started really enjoying white milk. And contemplating buying a yogurt machine so I could have yogurt without Vit D headaches. Guess I'm glad I waited on that.

Oh, that's such a bummer that your good source has gone and screwed things up. Maybe a sad letter to the head of the company would help.

I got a Waring Professional Yogurt Maker (which is, ha ha, for household use only), and am liking it so far. I got it for $30 at a Tuesday Morning store (closeouts, but higher level than many closeout places), if there's one of those anywhere around you. It makes 32 or 48 oz at a time, depending on whether you use the 2 16 oz. containers or 6 8 oz. I have been using the room-temp milk method rather than fooling around with heating and then rapid cooling. Too damn lazy, and I haven't poisoned myself yet.
