Okay, here's your chance to rec me some Torchwood fic - gen leaning if possible, otherwise I like some plot with a side of porn. (I've only seen through 2x02, but don't really care about spoilers) Or you know, if there's a similar community to stargateficrec for torchwood, hit me with it.

(warning, no, I've never seen a single episode of Dr. Who. I'm thinking of maybe watching the one's with Jack in them, maybe).

OK, righty. So, there's a daily newsletter at torchwood_three containing the day's roundup of fic, meta, icons and all other general torchwood-related *stuff*. There's also a roundup of TW fic communities here - http://community.livejournal.com/torch_wood/304869.html including a recs community

The first DW episodes with Jack in them (The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances) are probably my favourite episodes across all three series, but not because of Jack (who is a very different character to the Jack you know in TW - he's basically pretty and flirty and there's not really a lot more to him). There's some wonderful acting from Mr Eccleston, and it's about the creepiest episode of the three series as well.

Hmm, I'll definitely dig and check out the recs community. I'd found torchwood_three from flists, but after so long reading fanfic, i've become really picky and am always cautious of diving in to reading without a few recommended authors to start out with.

Mmm, Jack but not Jack. I guess we'll see how bad my need for a fix gets once I've finished off the series.
